Crazy and Mixed Up

Sarah Vaughan, is one of the greatest female jazz singers along with Billy Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald, has a warm enfolding voice far exceed than the other two singers. Her masterpiece Crazy and Mixed Up, was released in 1983 when she was 59, is believed to be the most incredible work in her career and the next one Gershwin Live! was put out same year as the last one, is excellent too.

I was also shocked that the musicians, guitarist Joe Pass, pianist Roland Hanna, bassist Andy Simpkins and drummer Harold Jones who are all fabulous not to speak of her technique as a singer
